Personal Reflection

Chapter 1.My Path
Why am I in nursing? I believe I said that the reason that I’m here is to build my passion and also because I did badly for my Olevels. I didn’t like my course, not at all. But because I have taken this road, this is what it brings.
I was at Genting for my holidays and I didn’t want to come back to Singapore, one of the reason be it attachment. Maybe also because I didn’t think I enjoyed enough. Anyway I did returned, but on one day late issue. I didn’t care less about it thinking that all I have to do is just a makeup on a Saturday which will eventually spoil my Christmas night celebration. Reaching Singapore, I still found it worthwhile as I did enjoyed my days at Genting, thinking that the one day replacement is worth it. But on the first day of attachment, or rather MY FIRST DAY I was having lots of trouble with the people there. Getting many lectures, even had my first bad record, and spoilt my image, have a counseling letter and a call telling my father about the incident. I didn’t think it was my fault at all at that time, but there was nothing I can do. I kept my calm and my optimism. I just try to take everything as a blessing and as a lesson taught. I believe I’ve learnt much from that.
Chapter 2.Seri,
After that day, I really did not like my CI and CF. my first impression for them was ruin, honestly speaking. But I also feel that my reputation and first impression for them was also bad about me. How much I do not like them shows how much they do not like me as well. After days of attachment, I notice that my CI, Seri was strict, yes and for that I understand her character now. She wants the best from us. I slowly carved out an image thinking that she was better, hoping that I will change my impression of her, just like what I am trying to do, trying to make her like me better as well. I feel that I have learnt much from her, especially on Saturday during my makeup, 26 December 2009. I was given loads of task from her, but her motive was to help us get as much signature as possible, another words, helping us pass.
Chapter 3.Oncology
I went to the internet to actually find out what is oncology, amazed that I didn’t know after being at an oncology ward for 1 week already? Oncology means the study on cancer. Anyway, back to my story about patients at the oncology ward.
It was not only incidents after incidents that made my bad day, there are times that I feel sad for my patients as well. I was taking care of beds 27 – 32 for this attachment. There are patients who are very pitiful, Bed 28 a patient students are not allowed to communicate with, I find his case very sad (patients privacy). Bed 32 who has left us. He was a 78 year old man who has illness and starts having negative thoughts. Maybe he think he has lived long enough and does not want anymore torture, he wants to die (heard when he said in Malay). But there are also times where I feel happy in the ward, for example, Bed 27. He was a great man, a man who thinks very positively in life. He jokes around with people around him, like his family and does not want them to worry too much. Although he had a stage 2 cancer, he is still very positive in life. He is a person who has an optimistic thought and shares the happiness with the people around him. He tells me about his life, and I returned jokes as well. He kept my attachment entertained and I feel that I am capable of communicating with patients well if we were able to speak up to each other. Another patient will be the new Bed 32, he is from china and it is his first time in a hospital, as heard from his friend. He looks very healthy and active. He has also left us just recently, keeping bed 32 now empty.
Chapter 4.Overview
I have signed my skills enough to pass. But I will keep going on, getting as many skills signed as possible and try help out in patients needs if I am able to do so. Even though working as a nurse can be tiring, I am not the only one who is holding on. If they can do it, so can I. All I can say is keep up the right attitude and not let some scolding bring you down.

Rained today, our legs were wet. mine not really, but hers is.
so we went home and i gave her a bath.

today's the first time i bathed with her,
washed her legs before any other parts. haha!
gave her a good bath, but accidentally removed her make up*
after a long bath,
brushed up her teeth, made her shine.
and tried facial. but sadly, she got alot of scars.

thn play with qishan's left over banana split and melted icecream.
mashed banana for 1st round, added water for 2nd.
we are to pass the things around, each time 1 person is to take as much as the person wants and pass it on ~ till its finish.

went for skates after that. met stella yuying for their vball fren for 'dinner'

this is one of my patients 'lucky' :D a dog which she take it for real

she is DAM CUTE la !
i was told to talk to her so that she will not try to climb out and run out of her bed. and yea i listened to her talk for 1hr30mins. and seriously. dam boring. loL starting interesting, till she keep repeating herself over and over again..
but she is very courteous, out of randomness would ask if we are thristy. but it is part of her speech and restart everything again.
things that she would talk about.
the DOG that she bought for $300 which was supersmall and she kept it till the size it is now..
the bed beside her as her husband (ahgong) although its a she.
she would randomly point out of the hospital (thru windows) and tell us that there got hainanese chicken rice (she's a hainanese) and regularly ask us if we got watch movies. some other random stuff she would say but just linking round and round repeating everything again and again.

me and joshua (a guy i got partner-ed with during this CA) we watching chn 8 comedy.
enjoying ourself and burning wonderful time till 1 uncle came by and played VCD or karaoke. and switched our show. dammit la -.-!
he and 1 guy(got alot tattoo) the tattoo guy like lao da liddat, the other old man i name him... singer for now.(cause he keep singing) singer like will assist lao da lo.
laoda ask him do wad he like brother liddat help him. cause laoda wheelchair bound. and stroke ma. hand also... so singer will help him. dam rude the laoda. really like gangster =.=!

ok skip. i lazy continue day2. cause i nvr take picture also...

sometimes i feel idk if what i do is right.. really.
i hate her at times, but she is still my sis? and my only sibling.
it is not cause she hates me, so i hate her? but for many other reasons.
it is not what she do to me that makes me hate her also...
it is also not anything that affects me that makes me hate her so much...
if she can learn her lessons? if she can show some respects?
if she can overcome her 'fears' (true or not i dont know) but very doubtful

still feels this way, if only i have a sibling who has a good attitude.

today : work was rather fun, i made a castle - house of my own
i was asked to stack th packet 1 orange.
so i went inside th pallet. and start stacking.
thn the idea came to me telling me to build a hse.
i stacked the walls, soon nobody outside can see me.
as i nid to clear the cardboard boxes, i packed them together.
formed my chair. haha! cam confortable la~ =x i slacked inside ahwile (?)
i dunno how long. but in the end cleared my task.

what else happen today?
i went back at 4.! :D nothing else special.
went back due to the event coming on soon. early reunion dinner! -smiles-

enjoyed my day today, although didnt get what i want. (buy jeans)
went out with junyang, jiaying, irena today.
1st to far east. all girls stuff, bought 1 shorts for 2, (2 for $40)
thn went off to taka. there everything very ex,
had dinner at ajisen thn continue jeans hunting,
everything was ex. all the nice pants worth 3 digits,
some not so nice ones are cheaper.. around 70
arnd 9.30 sylvia knock off, went to find her, thn all went home tgt.
walked jiaying back 1st, thn irena, thn sylvia. thn walk off head home,
sylvias current job is sooo nice can, sit there do nothing to get $5.
the boss even ask her to bring lappy go there burn time -.-! wth can!

didnt continue to blog yst night,
was beat! haha! - had dinner at a very grand place, i forgot where.
it was great, 2 reasons. GOOD FOOD~ and only my god ma ask me about results =x
hahaha~ skip that.

moving on to today, went for morning interview.
everyone left for home 1st? thn to meet later, since i 1st wanted to meet cheok for poly, i stayed, so i went to my mother's working place. visit her. waited there till cheok called me for lunch, i told my mama to help me do facial =x cause i nid to burn ALOT of time. met up cheok and 2 of his NTUC frens for lunch, ate and thn i went back to my mother. she rly did facial for me, but i had to pay $25, half the amount =x
well, its the first time i did facial for real~ it was wonderful at times, but sometimes it hurts so much. haha! its okay, i feel so much more smooth after that.

halfway thru the facial, NTUC suddenly called me, i had to start work today... went home bathed changed met kelvin, photocopy the things i need and moved off to timah plaza. wait for our instructions, then started work. was put in fresh, (mainly fruits) quite a good place, everyone treated us well. (: may, being my in charge.
she give us eat alot things behind the scene. HAHA! its just our 1st day =x
later at night, knocked off, waited for shijie. delayed by a stucked door. hahas
but in the end we were told to leave 1st (: left for home. TIRED !

today is the day, we finally have a gathering.
but only 11 turn up?!
junyang came up my hse to take game, thn went off to meet at CCK LRT.
met up with jiahao and jet.
then jocelyn hillary and diana.
waited DAM LONG for ken, and then daly came along.
moved to east coast cause theres no 1 else coming.
reach there, ate burger king, thn skates rental -(junyang jet ken me)
after which liqing met up with us.
the girls, daly and jiahao rented bikes.
played long till jacson called, saying that he reach alrdy,
daly went back to fetch him while th rest continue our way.
rest under a shelter and the boys went back to find jacson and daly.
hahas, jacson tried skates when he didnt rly noe how to. cool eh?
later, daly went off 1st. we continued
had fun luh, lots of laugh and craps.

took my GPA, thn toured alittle, thn moved to hall, disturb my sister, accompany junyang cous and left in awhile.
then went to NTUC buy stuff for lunch,
wanted to make japanese curry, but NTUC kept it to sell CNY stuff, and those things will only be available after CNY. so we bought spaghetti instead,
also, bought ingredients for cookies, I WANT TO EAT M&M MINT LO! but kel dunwan.
nehmind, after that to my hse take some xtra ingredients thn head off to junyang hse.
ohhya, be4 that we went to library return th curry book cause we dunnid it anymore, and went to ntuc to ask lydia if she would like to join us after her work,
at junyang hse, made cookies, cooked spaghetti and waited for lydia to reach.
th cookie turn hard, was nice at 1st, very nice. but harden and turned bad,
spaghetti improved compared to last time, but noodles hardened alittle due to long wait, mushroom soup was the same, and a new dessert added, honey sea coconut + aloe vera. dam nice can (:
jet did all the washing after that, cause when we cook, he slept.
went for mahjong, thn dinner with junyang sis and mama at plaza,
headed down to lot 1 later to shop, but only got 1 shorts, better luck tmr!

wake up abt 10 today due to mama call.
but went back to sleep and woke up at 12, again due to mama.
then wanted to go shopping for th BBQ with ahliang,
but when i reach sheng shiong, they finish shopping.
well, after that moved off to weixuan hse as everyone supposedly meet by 2.00
mother cheok couldnt come due to some problems, sad ;(
moved off to west coast park,
me tien shun (shit idk how spell TS) yingjie and eric took bus
stella wxuan and ahliang via wxuan papa car.
we, those who took bus slept, i actually didnt.. but nva notice that we missed until i see something familiar, the end of west coast.
we alighted late, and since it was far away, had to take bus again back.
took the bus again.. but this time, we alighted TOO EARLY. (lols)
in the end, had to walk.. from the one side of west coast to the other side
meet up with the rest and ahliang dam thirsty while waiting for us.. cause we carrying th drinks. then... he open root beer, unknowingly due to us carrying, th poor drink went for a good shake.. ahliang got wet,
okayy skip manymany... then wanted to go rent bike. but walk one side to the other, no bike shop but got th kart alike thingy.. wanted to take.. again didnt, cause $12 per 1/2 hr -.-!
god dammit. well, later join-ed th rest and BBQ BBQ BBQ, i jus sit there lazily.
skip some parts again..
then i kinda bored, tired and stella nid reach home by 11.

moved out to meet at plaza (9pm) took bus to genting..
at 1st stop, ate fishball noodles. I REALLY LIKE THE CHILLI LA x.x!
jet still hungry after meal, he bought 2 or 3 more breads i think?
after buying breads he still wan buy ramly. but tanjy mother dunwan us make bus wait, so moved on.. due to bored-ness in the bus, jet and i went to count the traffic as we moved towards our destination/ on every car that drove pass on average.
made 3 attenpts. 4.1, 5.9 and 3.5.. rounded off. arnd 4.5 on average
reach genting. weather changed. COLD ~
moved to eat KFC,(X MEAL)
thn burned time as we didnt have a room to sleep yet, tried to delay till nxt morning.
went to starbucks to make use of their seats and internet.. bcause i left psp in tanjy mama room. i didnt go take ( we only had 1 room at that time - so we let th adults sleep 1st while we go out ) so i no psp = no internet.
went to re-tie restyle my shoe laces. and tied junyang's too..

11th,
From yst, after slacking much, we went back to room about 4++
th adults thn left to gamble(?) while we get our chance to sleep
slept till 11am before getting a new room at arnd 1(?)
bathed thn go to th coffee shop to eat. (chicken rice)
after eating. instead of having any activity, we went back to room cause jet want to dabian. jet told us that he saw 4b peps + chunhoe cause he went to public toilet.
after time flies, we moved off to meet up at 5.00 with everyone else who is there.
i saw enwei on th way there, she told me that they going home le.. sad ;(
met new frens, (melissa gina and ivan - tanjy mama fren childrens)
went for dinner then pools and shopping..
after that stayed at starbucks, hard to find space but eventually got.
stayed there ti use internet awhile? then back to room played blackjack.
blackjack rules is to drink water ( per bottle) i think 300ml
i got 6 bottles. (kinda low)
lowest 5. highest 17. (v. late sleep)

12th,
brkfast at coffee shop again, (cheapest most budget place - but still, RM7 per meal)
after eating, we find the rest of th genting frens, bt they still sleeping. hence postponed and decided to meet up at 11. so we headed to play theme park 1st.
while waiting for a que, a mysterious guy from no where pop up and gave us a offer of only 40rm for indoor and outdoor games (outdoor alone is 39rm)
we didnt rly trust that guy at 1st, but in the end took the offer.
at 11am, we bought tickets for midnight show (the day the earth stood still)
and head back to the outdoor park, played till 5.00 then met th adults for dinner
moved to check on how to go to KL for tmr's trip then headed down to outdoor park to play again (our ticket last for that day only)
after park close, we moved to starbucks to burn 30mins of time till th show start (30min we rly cant do anything much)
the movies Sucksss and wasted my time -.- i slept in most part of the show
head back to room to sleep, pleasant sleep cause everyone is sleepy already

13th,
woke up at 7.00 but back to sleep due to pleasent sleep
luckily awoken by door knock from tanjy mother
we thn rush to meet at lobby, a little late thou...
bought bus tickets, while waiting, i happen to saw wan ling, hi, and moved off to KL
xfer to monorail to go to timesquare shopping center. (DAM BIG)
shop finish ( low budget )
on monorail trip back, i notice my hp pouch missing, too late.
moved off for dinner then send ivan to room, then went for movies (beast stalker)
this show is sooo much nicer
back to room after movies played dun let th cup sink game, punishment is forfeits
everyone got 1.
me : shout hello Negros out of the window
gina : talk to the wall, introduce herself for 2mins
melissa : do jumping jack at the water area
jet and jing lin : immitate the TV programme movements supposingly 1min(draged) funny
junyang : describe wad is happening on th TV for 2mins (change channels)
after that slept late.

14th,
last day to play, i woke up early to have brkfast with tanjy nad his mother
the rest still want to sleep, rather sleep thn eat.
after we eat finish, we dapao for th other 2 guys sleeping in the room.
while jy mother doing that, me and jy played brkfast version of carom board (laughs)
met up at 11+ to buy bolts tickets.
after that played pools, lunch at kenny roger, then bowling.
after which, continue shopping (but i no money ; no buy)
went back to room and wait till 5.00 (nothing to do, watch tv - jet translate for us)
met up at 5.00 for dinner again, and after that shopping for ling's then movies.
after that played cheat in the room ( no punishment ) slept well.

15th, (short day nothing much to say)
meet up for 10.30 breakfast with everyone then went to wait for bus at pitstop
then traveled home. on the trip home, other bus broke down, we had to help so delayed about 1hr ++ trip home was pretty much delayed. from supposingly 6.00 reach to 8.00 reach sgpore.
when reach sgpore, i smsed to find out wad happen for today's event (class clique)
they went to watch movie (the day the earth stood still) HAHAHA! stupid show =x

lols. today went shopping whole day with tanjy jet and maobin.
pretty much enjoyed,
morning went to queensway, me and tan buy 1 pants. maobin followed us there.
then later afternoon we met jet at IMM, there tanjy bought his jeans,
night we went to bugis. i go my jacket at bugis junction.
jet walked bugis street and junction, but didnt get what he wanted, (sad)
thn bus-ed home..

i notice that i very long no go his blog. (as in days)
i notice that i didnt go to his blog is bcause i still tot it was dead (it still is quite)
i notice that i miss many things too..

i miss having to sleep on time, and wake up on time. (i dun mind wakeing up at 6.15)
i miss reaching school dam early, and wait for ppl to come .
i miss playing and running around during to early mornings from class to class to see who has reach,
i miss going to 4A to join frens , chat . and even play during th early morning
i miss sitting on that table with 2 comfy fan

well, i was suppose to update immediately after O's

it's 15 today. and im just back from my chalet.

chalet was with class, from 14. we went there enjoyed quite abit
hahas. today suppose go WWW de lo >< but canceled due to some stupid weather forecast (thunderstorm) - scared waste money. thn no go.
after that. RAIN!? drizzle for awhile only.
in the end, went to play pool. and thn swim, before me jet shijie and moses headed home. leaving th rest as they continued with th BBQ.
the chalet was quite fun, just that i lack sleep. SQUEEEZZZZYYYYY lorh,

zhiyang news todae to make u smile..
news 8.30 tonight. abit out of time. but.. aniway
todae news about straws if been discovering and investigating about in bukit panjang plaza sweet talk..
JET: from th last time. he said tht white straws are weak.
and zhiyang todae found out . it is proven and is true. white straws are incredibly weak and easy to fold.
adding on to tht information, red straws are amazingly difficult to bend.
investigation is almost done as zhiyang structure is half compelte.. trying to squeeze 2-4 straws in each slot.. finding out which is smaller..
incredibly. th sizes of th straws are different.. and amzingly they somehow can fit into each other if u happen to pick th correct straw (random) so far 1 sword is complete and now making a pole...

th pole is almost complete.. jus lacking some tape which im gonna buy soon.. it will look so cool.. andand i whack you thn u noe LOL! TAG before leave or ill WHACK U wif tht pole -.-
